The beautiful city of Prague provided the backdrop for the launch of the ECR Community Shrink and OSA Groups long awaited Collaborative Food Waste Maturity Model.
The objective of the model is to prevent food waste by “designing it out” of the supply chain. To achieve this three strategic levers have been identified; innovation, supply chain planning and supply chain execution which when used in conjunction with a collaborative approach between all stakeholders along the supply chain real progress can be seen.
